Peppers Kings Square Hotel Perth

The new Peppers Kings Square Hotel has opened in Perth, capital of Western Australia.

Peppers Kings Square Hotel is a new $40 million 120-room hotel that was was officially opened today by the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor of Perth, Councillor Lisa Scaffidi, and heralds the arrival of the stylish and contemporary Peppers brand in Western Australia.

The new-build hotel, which is managed by leading Australian-based hotel and resort operator Mantra Group, was developed in partnership by Mode Development Group and Hickory Building Systems and is Australia’s tallest modular hotel.

Located within Perth’s dynamic Shafto Lane entertainment precinct, the opening of Peppers Kings Square Hotel reflects the continued expansion and evolution of one of Australia’s most trusted hotel brands in highly sought-after CBD locations.

Ideal for leisure and business travellers, Peppers Kings Square Hotel takes pride of place on Wellington Street in Perth’s city centre and is only a short walk to Perth Arena, the CBD, boutique shopping, dining and laneway bar districts.

The hotel boasts a selection of stylish guest rooms, an onsite a la carté restaurant, Stage Kitchen & Bar, serving innovative provincial cuisine typical of West Australia, lounge facilities, concierge with valet parking service, the fastest Wi-Fi connection to be installed in a Perth hotel (complimentary in guest rooms) and a 24 hour reception.

I have stayed in Peppers Kings Square Hotel and it was an excellent experience.

Decor is contemporary and rooms are quite large and very comfortable. One thing that I did notice was that the rooms are very quiet. In some hotels you are very aware of the comings and goings of other guests, but in Peppers there is no sense that you are sharing your floor with other guests.

One feature that I did like was the room had floor-to-ceiling picture windows, which does enhance the feeling of space.  It was particularly interesting to watch the city change at dusk as the city lit up for the night.

Staff are friendly and efficient, with the check-in and check-out process being very easy.

The WiFi is, as promised, very fast, and it is complimentary.  I have stayed at too many hotels where WiFi is either charged at prohibitive prices, or is slow and frustrating, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that Peppers WiFi was as promised.

Food in the Stage Kitchen & Bar was brilliant.  You have a choice of small, tapas dishes or larger meals.  From the tapas menu the Spicy Calamari was outstanding.  My wife’s Barramundi was perfectly cooked.

Peppers Kings Square Hotel is a great addition to the Perth hotel scene, and is very well located on Wellington St close to Perth Arena, the Northbridge entertainment precinct and the King Street boutique shopping area.
